VOLUNTEER TO BE A PART OF The REAL INSURANCE HARBOUR 10!

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers for the 2026 Real Insurance Harbour 10. Join us on Sunday, 26 July 2026 and help us to get our competitors over the finish line in Sydney’s flattest, fastest 10km and 5km. 

No experience is required for most roles – just positive energy & a friendly attitude.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!

By volunteering you will be providing invaluable support both in the lead up and on race day. As a volunteer you will be working with event staff, charities, sporting groups, and other individual volunteers at the various locations around the 10km and 5km courses.
Pre-event Registration & Packet Pick up
Welcome participants and ensure they are race-ready by verifying registrations and handing out official race bibs and timing chips.
Baggage Drop Off/Collection
Provide peace of mind for runners by safely storing their personal belongings during the event and facilitating a quick, organized collection after they finish.
Wayfinding

Serve as a friendly face for the event by guiding participants and spectators to key locations such as the start line, transport hubs, and facilities.

Start & Finish Marshals

Help create a smooth and safe experience for everyone by managing runner flow and crowd control at the high-energy start and finish line areas.

Course Marshals

Provide vital direction, safety monitoring, and enthusiastic encouragement to participants at various points along the scenic 5km and 10km routes.

Medal Distribution

Be part of the ultimate finish line celebration by congratulating participants and presenting them with their well-deserved medals as they cross the line.

Drink Stations

Help keep runners hydrated and motivated by efficiently preparing and distributing water to participants as they pass through designated stations on the course.
